Our Ongoing Programs

1. "YOUR WASTE OUR UTILITY"
is an initiative of WDAC that has been working, with a
bifocal approach, for the sustainable development of underprivileged women and girls. Initiated
in the year 2012 with a major emphasis on clothing them, their children and providing them with
the stationery requirement for the studies.
The programme identifies the usable resources from the city from the able people and
channelizes it for poor and vulnerable people in the rural areas. The programme has benefitted
over 2500 women and girls since inception.

2. “Corporate Giving”
is a campaign aimed at raising funds Rs.100 (Hundred Rupees
from each employee each months – Tax Rebate can be Claimed) from the corporate houses
and organized sector business houses for the deeply affected and unable Dalit, Janjati and rural
poor to support their stationery and other educational needs who have just glimpsed the ray of
life. Donors can directly donate the stationery if they want, the provision will be arranged as per
their convenience.

3. “Gift a Smile”
is a program that helps you be a part of the initiative to reach out to
underprivileged children and women and provide them with medical facilities such as DENTAL
CHECK UP, EYE CHECK UP, and ROUTINE HELATH CHECK UP. You can donate on your Birthday, Marriage Anniversary, in the remembrance of near and dear ones.

4. “Sensitization of Underprivileged Women and Youth”
The program sensitizes the adolescent girls and women from the community and developing them into Change Ambassadors, who in turn actively contribute to the community mobilization process. Select Change Ambassadors are then developed into Master Trainers who can advocate and sensitize women and girls regularly. WDAC works towards its objective of all round development of women and girls, through these interventions.

5. “Skill Development Training for Income Generation” Understanding the importance of
income generation for a sustainable development we have collaborated with the different local
technical colleges and institutions for the skill development of the underprivileged youths and
women for their self sufficiency.

6. “Action Environment” The Program is committed to fostering a spirit of cooperation and
shared responsibility among citizens, businesses, institutions, and governmental agencies
towards the enhancement of local, regional, and global environmental quality.
